Give the moving vehicle its own waiting place
Sound Transit describes parking for transit passengers and warns about unauthorized non-transit use. For a move near Mountlake Terrace Station, do not assume a park-and-ride stall is available for a moving truck or a bin handoff. Check the specific lot's operator and posted rules, then arrange a suitable waiting and unloading place with the property manager. Give helpers separate arrival instructions rather than using the station lot as overflow.

Separate active unloading from a longer truck stay
The city's residential-zone code distinguishes active loading and unloading from parking a commercial vehicle. Before arranging a truck to wait at your home, ask your mover and city staff how the rule applies to that vehicle and address. Confirm the unloading point and any building time window with the property manager. An active-loading exception does not reserve curb space or make a blocked sidewalk acceptable.

Check the 56th Avenue W project segment
The city's Main Street Phase II page covers 56th Avenue W from 236th Street SW to north of 232nd Street SW. If this corridor is part of your route, check the latest project update and ask the property manager about driveway and sidewalk access for your date. The published schedule is a planning resource, not proof that construction has started or a particular lane is open. Share a verified entrance with the driver before arrival.
