Confirm any street-space permission

Bellevue lists parking, loading zones and certain non-excavation closures under its Street Use permit category. If your move needs special use of a public curb or sidewalk, ask the Right of Way Division which approval applies. Confirm this before booking a truck that cannot use the property's own loading area.

Read residential parking signs carefully

Bellevue distinguishes general parking restrictions from Residential Parking Zones. An RPZ permit can exempt eligible residents and guests from that zone's restrictions, while general restrictions apply to everyone during the posted times. Check the exact address and vehicle arrangements before helpers arrive, rather than assuming a resident's permit covers the moving plan.

Check city streets before arrival

Bellevue's traffic resources combine a live city-street map and cameras with regularly updated lane-closure and detour advisories. Check both before you commit to an unloading window. For an apartment or office move, give the driver the loading entrance and confirm elevator access with the building so the final approach is clear.

Both addresses must be within 75 road miles of the assigned warehouse, checked separately using exact road distance. Billing rounding never expands eligibility. Service and dates still need confirmation.

The first 15 road miles of the original delivery and original pickup are included. Billing rounds each leg’s road distance down to one decimal place, then charges $2 per excess mile ($0.20 per excess tenth). Separately approved extra customer-requested legs cost $2 per road mile from mile 0, with no 15-mile allowance. Exact distances and charges need review before payment. This preview does not calculate routes or a payable quote.

MAKE IT YOURS

Pack around your building access.

Before packing a Bellevue apartment or office, ask which entrance and elevator your move can use. Label each box with its destination room or work area, and keep keys, access cards and first-night essentials with you. Large bins form your starting mix; optional XL bins are additions. Check the loading-bay-to-door route before adding dollies, and keep packed boxes out of shared corridors and exits.
