Do not assume a loading zone fits your move
Burien's parking guidance describes signed loading zones as serving products associated with local commercial businesses, while time-limited spaces support business turnover. Before using one for household belongings, confirm the applicable rules with the city. Share the exact sign and location with your mover rather than treating every loading-zone sign as permission for a residential move.

Check the driveway and public-space boundary
Measure the proposed private stopping area against the vehicle and its unloading space. If the plan would take over a sidewalk, alley or other public area, ask Burien's Permit Center which review applies before placing equipment or reserving space. Keep the bin staging area on an agreed part of the property and preserve access for neighbors and pedestrians.

Review the route for the day's conditions
Burien's map library includes truck routes, street maps, de-icing routes and snow-plowing routes. Use the relevant map to discuss the approach with your driver, then confirm current signs and conditions near the address. A route on a city map does not reserve curb space or establish that a private driveway or building entrance is clear for unloading.
