01Check city limits, not just the ZIP
The City of Katy explicitly notes that a Katy mailing address does not mean a property is inside its city limits. Its utilities page directs residents to an address-check map. Use that check before relying on city services or sending a street-access question to the wrong office, and confirm the full address with the property manager.

For homes served by the City of Katy, the city publishes the application and timing requirements for starting residential water service. Check the current instructions early enough to coordinate your move-in date. If the address is outside city limits, identify the actual provider with the landlord or seller instead of assuming the city's process applies.

TxDOT's Grand Parkway guide distinguishes the road's individual segments, including Segment E between I-10 and US 290, and explains that toll charges vary by vehicle and entry or exit. If you are driving a rental truck, check its toll arrangements before choosing that route. Confirm the final neighborhood entrance as well as the freeway exit.
