Confirm the boundary behind the postal address
Angleton’s map library includes city-limit information and directs users to independently verify map details. Use it as a starting point, then confirm whether the property falls within the city or an unincorporated area before directing a street-use question to an office. Give the relevant authority the exact location and proposed vehicle plan. A mapped boundary does not establish HiveBoxx eligibility or approve a loading space.

Inspect the ditch beside the driveway
Angleton Public Works lists streets, drainage, signs and open ditches among its maintenance responsibilities. When planning an unloading point, look at the driveway crossing and roadside drainage as well as the paved approach. Keep bins and loose packing material out of ditches, and discuss any damaged or obstructed access with the responsible office or property manager. Do not extend a stopping area onto an unverified soft edge.

Put emergency instructions ahead of the move
Angleton’s emergency-response guidance directs residents to follow official alerts, evacuation orders and shelter-in-place instructions, and to avoid high water. Check those instructions and the official forecast before departure when severe weather threatens. Keep essentials accessible and agree on how you will change the moving plan if needed. An evacuation map is for emergency planning; it does not confirm that an ordinary moving route is currently open.
