Ask about a parking-lane closure
Everett's Traffic Street Use checklist lists parking closures, lane or sidewalk closures, and dumpster or POD placement as separate permit subtypes. If your move needs one of those setups, ask Permit Services which requirements apply. We recommend doing this before reserving equipment, and sharing a sketch of the intended unloading space with the city.

Plan for the posted parking limit
Everett's parking overview explains that posted limits apply and that re-parking within the same block without crossing an intersection counts as continuous parking. We recommend arranging a loading window that fits the location instead of depending on moving the truck a few spaces. Keep packed boxes ready inside so the authorized stopping time is used efficiently.

Check the downtown approach
Everett's camera directory includes views along Broadway, Pacific Avenue, Hewitt Avenue and other local approaches. We recommend checking the intersections relevant to your move shortly before departure. For an apartment or office destination, confirm the service entrance and any elevator appointment as well, so the driver has a complete arrival plan rather than just an address.
